Tefsir Akademisyenlerinden İsveç’e iki dilde tepki

Türkiye Tefsir Akademisyenleri Platformu Türkçe ve İngilizce bir basın açıklaması yaparak İsveç’te Kur’an’a yapılan saygısızlığa tepki gösterdi. Platform adına gazetemiz haber merkezine Prof.Dr. Abdulkbaki Güneş tarafından gönderilen açıklamada şunlar kaydedildi:

"Türkiye Tafsir Akademisyenleri Platformu olarak İsveç Türkiye Büyükelçiliği önünde kutsal kitabımız Kur’an-ı Kerime yönelik saldırıyı nefretle kınıyoruz bu tür bir eylemin açık bir suç teşkil ettiğine ve ifade özgürlüğünün istismarı olduğu şüphesizdir. Bu eylem polis korumasında ona izin veren İsveç yönetimi içinde bir utanç kaynağıdır. Bu tür nefret suçlarının ve İslam karşıtlığının insanlığı taşıyacağı güvenli bir mekân mevcut değildir. Umulur ki birtakım Batı ülkeleri bu konuda kendilerini gözden geçirir. Öte yandan ifade etmeliyiz ki bu tür eylemler Türkiye tefsir akademisyenleri olarak bizlere İslam medeniyetini vahyin doğrultusunda ihya etme sorumluluğumuzu bir kez de hatırlatmaktadır daha çok çalışmalı ve özlem duyulan daha huzurlu ve adil ortamı insanlığa takdim etmeliyiz.

As the members of our Qur'an Exegetes Platform, we strongly denounce the recent act of Qur'an burning in Sweden. As a platform dedicated to the study, interpretation and dissemination of the Qur'an, we are deeply offended and hurt by this act of disrespect towards the sacred text of Islam and the Muslim community.
This act of hatred and intolerance towards a specific religious group has no place in our society, and it is a clear violation of religious freedom and tolerance. The Qur'an is a sacred text for over a billion people worldwide, and its burning is a deeply hurtful and offensive act.
We call on the authorities in Sweden to take all necessary measures to investigate this incident and bring those responsible to justice. We also call on all members of the society to reject this act of hate and to work towards fostering mutual understanding and respect among different communities.
As a platform, we will continue to promote the understanding of the Qur'an and the Islamic faith through education and tolerance. We will continue to provide opportunities for our members to engage in conversations, events and activities that support this goal.
We stand in solidarity with the Muslim ummah and all those affected by this hateful act, and we reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive and tolerant society for all."
